Sleeping Giant    


Sleep you giant warrior
Within you lies the truth
Bound by native promises
Resounds the age old truth



Secrets shared with no one
Warnings of the deep
Broken secrets punished
Turned into eternal sleep

The treasure of the silver mines
Exploited, broken, stolen
Tiptoe gently giant’s bones
Never to be woken



The greed of man has sealed your doom
The silver locked in watery tomb
Never to be breached by man
Forever stricken by the Hand



The giant lies in watery grave
Protecting still the hidden caves
Of gleaming silver in the deep
Locked fast in his eternal sleep
